Processes

Coaching

We work with coaching as a development oriented process taking the coachee’s own resources and development areas in relation to the challenge at hand as a starting point. Coaching takes place as a series of dialogue based meetings, typically from 4-8 meetings with a duration of app. 90 minutes and an interval of 2-3 weeks. Among different interventions we use psychological test and analysis tools depending on the actual need.

Coaching processes often take one of the following directions as their starting point:

  • Development of skills (the need to master certain competences)
  • Development of performance (the need to master certain situations or persons)
  • Existential clarification (the need to understand my present situation, and where I imagine myself in the long term)

We work from a theoretical perspective which places individual unique knowledge in the coachee herself. That means our job is to assist the coachee in her learning rather than teaching. In other words: we merely ask the questions; the answers will be inside the individual!

Coaching can form the basis of the following processes:

  • Leader Development
  • Personal Development
  • Career development
  • Stress handling (See below)

Team Building

We arrange team building seminars for both smaller and bigger groups with participants from 3 to 30 persons. The processes will spread over everything from a one day program to module constructed seminars with 4-5 modules. Actual team building typically takes place in teams with 4-8 members and often has an extent of 3-4 modules which each lasts 1-2 days. It is also possible to focus team work in a more general way e.g. in the context of a whole division lasting 1-2 days.

  • The individual resources of a team

We develop the seminar in cooperation with the customer and design content and process according to the existing wishes and needs. We have many years of experience in planning and carrying out team building processes and can recommend particular courses of action. We often use the typology of C. G. Jung’s typology (click here to read more), where everybody is completing the type analysis JBTA® (Jung Based Type Analysis) before the seminar. The theory behind the typology is presented in an interactive way on the first day of the seminar. The purpose of using the type analysis is to focus the individual similarities and differences among the team members and through that raise the consciousness about the different resources in the team.

  • The team type profile

Another natural step in a team building process could be to observe the composition of the team and the existing team roles. By using the team type tool The TeamDiamond® (click here to read more) the balances and imbalances of the team are visualized. The team is subsequently able to target its development process.

  • The combination of analysis and practical exercises

We can recommend a combination between theoretical, analytical tools and practical outdoor team exercises. Our selection of exercises is not characterized by survival exercises but is rather a selection of simple and practical cooperation exercises with no emphasize on individual physical strengths and speed.

Stress Handling

We all meet disappointments, obstacles, problems and challenges and we all need to handle these in our everyday life. As human beings we typically handle these situations all in our own way and have different experiences of what makes us feel under pressure. In that perspective stress is partly an expression of an individual vulnerability and strain. Your experience and needs will for that reason be the starting point for creating awareness of your energy sources in order to make you able to sustain your personal boundaries. The most important area of effort when you work with stress is being aware of your own focus on the situations and how to become your own captain instead of letting yourself drift.

  • Individual consultations
  • Corporate deals

We accept employees, specialists, project managers and managers from all sorts of organizations and we make a quick and targeted effort to help the stressed client regain his or her balance. Our stress coping course typically has an extent of 5-8 consultations which each last for 90 minutes. Often we make a follow-up in about 3 months. Please contact as soon as possible for the most efficient intervention.

  • Group seminars

We work preventively by introducing the participants to a theoretical frame of understanding why different stressors stress different types of persons, and how you can work on sharpening your attention to detecting stress symptoms in yourself or others. We introduce the participants to easy used models which are helpful in both preventing and working with stress.
